In a bid to improve beach facilities, the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Tourism Department has introduced an entry fee at popular beaches across the state starting January 1, 2025. It’s a huge decision to enhance tourism infrastructure, maintain cleanliness, and promote sustainable development.

Why and how much Entry Fee: The entry fee will be between INR 15 to INR 20 per person. It is part of a larger plan by the Andhra Pradesh government.

Maipadu Beach
Kakinada Beach
Ramayapatnam Beach
Rushikonda Beach
Suryalanka Beach

Improved cleanliness
The fee will be used to maintain cleanliness at the beaches. Regular maintenance is important to preserve the natural beauty of these coastal beauties and to make them more attractive for tourists.
