Filmmaker Sandeep Singh has roped in Kantara star Rishab Shetty to play the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in his upcoming film The Pride Of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He announced this on social media on Tuesday.
Sharing the first poster of the film that features Rishab Shetty as Shivaji Maharaj, Sandeep Singh wrote, "Our Honour and Privilege, Presenting the Epic Saga of India’s Greatest Warrior King – The Pride of Bharat: #ChhatrapatiShivajiMaharaj. This isn’t just a film – it’s a battle cry to honor a warrior who fought against all odds, challenged the might of the Mighty Mughal empire, and forged a legacy that can never be forgotten."
The Pride Of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj will be released in theatres on January 21, 2027.
