Kishan broke several records during his innings. At 24 years old, he became the youngest player to score a double hundred in ODIs. He is also only the fourth Indian to achieve this feat, joining the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, and Rohit Sharma. Additionally, his double century came in just 126 balls. As he broke Chris Gayle's record of the fastest ODI double hundred, which the West Indian had scored in 138 balls during the 2015 World Cup.
India's total of 409/8 was the highest-ever ODI score by a visiting team in Bangladesh. Chasing such a massive target, Bangladesh was under pressure from the start.
