Luigi has been charged with murder in last week's deadly shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, according to court documents filed Monday night. The 26-year-old, who was identified earlier as a person of interest, was arrested on firearms and other charges in Pennsylvania after being spotted at a McDonald's in Altoona amid a massive manhunt for the shooter.

Whether it's posing before a scenic natural landscape surrounded by green mountains, to enjoying a feast at some jungle with friends, or showing off his chiselled physique - Luigi hasn't shied away from putting his best foot forward.

Who is Luigi Mangione?
Luigi Mangione was born and raised in Maryland and has ties to San Francisco, California, according to New York Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny. He hails from a prominent Baltimore family. His grandparents, Nick Mangione Sr and Mary C Mangione, developed prestigious properties such as the Turf Valley and Hayfields Country Clubs. The family also owns Lorien Health Services and the conservative radio station WCBM. His cousin, Nino Mangione, is a Maryland House Delegate.
Growing up:
Luigi attended a private, all-boys high school in Baltimore, called the Gilman School, according to school officials. In 2016, when he graduated from school, Mangione was named as the valedictorian, which is usually the student with the highest academic achievements in a class. According to a post on the school website, in his valedictory speech, Mangione described his classmates' "incredible courage to explore the unknown and try new things."
