IIM Mumbai has set new placement benchmarks for the 2025 batch, with standout achievements in both full-time offers and internships. The placement season began on November 25 and concluded with a record-breaking highest package of Rs 54 LPA offered by Microsoft, alongside Coca-Cola offering an industry-leading internship stipend of Rs 5 lakh total for a two-month summer internship programme.
This year, 78 leading companies participated in the placement drive, making 373 offers in total. Renowned firms like Accenture, Amazon, Microsoft, and Coca-Cola were among the top recruiters.
The placements saw a 15% increase in average stipends, a testament to IIM Mumbai’s growing reputation for connecting academia with industry needs.
PROMINENT SECTORS AT IIM MUMBAI
Key industries like Consulting, IT, FMCG, and BFSI dominated the hiring landscape. Additionally, there was a notable increase in roles focused on technology and sustainability, reflecting current industry trends and the dynamic skill set of the students.
