In a conversation With Curly Tales, Malaika shared her own recipe for Paneer Thecha, revealing that it is a staple in her home. She described the dish as a comforting favourite that she enjoys preparing regularly.
Ingredients:
The following are the ingredients for this wonderful dish
Paneer or Tofu, fresh coriander, garlic, green chillies, salt, peanuts, oil, lemon, onion
Preparation steps:
Choose your base:
Start by selecting your preferred type of base mainly paneer but you can also opt for tofu as a substitute.

Prepare the thecha:
Thecha is a traditional Maharashtrian condiment. Begin by dry roasting the garlic, green chillies, coarse salt (known as moota namak), and peanuts in a pan until fragrant. Adjust the amount of green chillies according to your spice preference.
Add freshness:
Use plenty of fresh coriander in the mix. Incorporate the stems too since they add extra flavour.
Crush the mixture:
After roasting, crush the mixture together to form a coarse paste.
Coat and cook the paneer:
In a separate pan, heat a small amount of oil. Coat the paneer with the crushed mixture to it and sauté briefly to infuse the oil with flavour.
Garnish:
Serve your Paneer Thecha with a squeeze of lemon and some sliced onions for added freshness. Read More
