Recently, former cricketer and commentator Nikhil Chopra participated in and won a golf match to raise awareness against drunk driving. Former cricketers like Syed Kirmani, Madan Lal, and RP Singh, along with hockey player Zafar Iqbal, also joined the event. "It wasn't all about the game; it was about lending our voices to a crucial conversation," Nikhil said, adding, "I think it is our responsibility to spread road safety awareness. It's not just about your own life - it's about others' too."
Stressing the importance of road safety awareness, he said, "With cabs available at the tap of a finger, there's no reason to drive after drinking. Leave your car, book a cab, and don't risk lives. Such simple steps can save lives. It's about being a responsible citizen."

About the event, Nikhil added, "Playing golf with friends in a relaxed setting is always great. But if we can make even five people think about road safety, that's a bigger victory than any trophy. What truly matters is using events like these to encourage people to rethink their choices. Participation is important." Read More
