Bigg Boss Telugu Season 8, hosted by superstar Nagarjuna, finally came to an end on December 15. The grand finale of the reality show saw Ram Charan as the chief guest. Actor Nikhil Maliyakkal won the first prize on the show and took home the Bigg Boss trophy, cash prize worth Rs 55 lakh and a car. The star-studded grand finale was eventful with multiple twists and turns.
Ram Charan, who is following his Ayyappa Deeksha, made his entry on the show in an all-black outfit. He walked to the stage barefoot and also promoted his upcoming film, Game Changer.
This year, the finale saw a new twist where the last two remaining contestants - Nikhil Maliyakkal and Gautham Krishna - were presented with a special offer. It was suggested that one finalist could choose Rs 55 lakh prize money, while the other one could take home the trophy and a car. Tense moments followed, but both finalists declined the offer.
Ram Charan then announced that Nikhil Maliyakkal is the winner of the show while Gautham Krishna was the first runner-up.
